Our story
Let's visit 1997, a time when the internet was first growing in popularity. Paper-based testing was the main method of test delivery. Computer-based testing was in its infancy. With a strong background in software engineering and development, Pat Ward was unimpressed with the existing testing technology. (Where were the relational databases? Why were some using proprietary markup languages instead of HTML?) Pat knew the maturing internet offered an opportunity for the testing industry, and that’s how Internet Testing Systems was born. Today, we deliver more than 25 million tests globally through our secure internet testing methods. We partner with some of the top assessment organizations and engage over 200 tech-savvy employees to develop products and solutions that support the assessment lifecycle. And, most importantly, we pride ourselves on always doing the right thing, putting employees and clients first in all pivotal decisions.
